KWBG (1590 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve the community of Boone, Iowa. The station primarily broadcasts a News Talk Information format. KWBGis owned by NRG Media and licensed to NRG License Sub, LLC. KWBG uses a single tower during daytime operation, and switches to a two-tower antenna for nighttime operation which directs the signal toward the northwest. KWBG covers the schools of Boone, Ogden and Madrid as well as the community college in Boone, DMACC.
