KIFW 1230 AM is a broadcast radio station from Sitka, AK, United States, providing Adult Contemporary music. g weekend, June 3-4th 2023. This is a longtime annual event in Sitka which draws fishing friends and family together to enjoy fun times on the water while searching for that prize-winning king. Prize solicitation letters have been mailed out and donations are starting to arrive. Donors names along with their prize donations will be published in the pre-Derby booklet which comes out the first part of May, also printed in the Daily Sitka Sentinel right before the Derby weekend, also in the Sitka Salmon Derby facebook page and of course on Derby awards night.
