KDLM is owned by Leighton Enterprises, Inc. The station has been on the air since1951. It was purchased in 1958 by Al Leighton and has been locally owned for 50 years. The station’s general manager is Al’s youngest son, Jeff Leighton. KDLM's Operation's Manager is Jack Hansen and KDLM Program Director is Andy Lia. KDLM is community-focused programming with full-time local on-air talent and a full-time news director. Other programming includes overnight national talk shows and afternoon programming from the Twin Cities.
