Go-GoRadio.com is a 24/7, online radio station based in Washington DC, and has been broadcasting over three years. Go-GoRadio.com reaches over 40,000 worldwide listeners monthly.The station plays all forms of Go-Go music from cool out jams to bounce beat to grown & sexy to old school. Many national artists have had hits with Go-Go music as the backdrop to their vocals. Songs like Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” Amerie’s “One Thing,” Jill Scott’s “It’s Love,” Salt N’ Pepa’s “My Mic Sounds Nice,” Jennifer Lopez’s “Get Right,” and Ludacris’ “Pimpin' All Over The World,” for which he recorded a remix using DC Go-Go band Rare Essence. Many of the tracks were produced or preformed by artist from the Go-Go community. Movie producer Spike Lee used Go-Go on the sound track for the movie “School Daze.” The hit song from the movie, “Da' Butt,” performed by the band Experience Unlimited, was nominated for a Grammy. The Washington Wizards picked “Welcome to DC” by Mambo Sauce as their team song for 2008
