The history of Radio Nigeria Enugu is intertwined with the history of broadcasting in the country generally and the FRCN in particular. The BBC (BritishBroadcasting service) initiated broadcasting in Nigeria on December 19, 1932 with the introduction of Radio Distribution service through the post and telegraphs department in some part of the country including Enugu.
